  I finally got a chance today to try out this newly opened salon in Great Neck. My stylist was Ken. He sure know my hair and understand what I want. I have frizzy hair with natural curls and he gave good opinions on how to tame the frizzies. I felt confident on him and I am very satisfied with my haircut. Lastly, I am happy that there is a good Chinese salon here in the LI.

  I had my hair cut and colored by Stanley today, and loved the results! l told him my concerns about cutting it too short, and he was able to trim enough of my hair so that it still looked long, but it was much more healthy looking than before. I was also interested in coloring my hair, but had never done it before (l had virgin black hair), and I didn't want to bleach it to get the color onto my hair. We discussed the possibility of coloring my hair without bleaching, and he took into consideration the color and effect I wanted. I was looking for a more subtle purple color that would be more vibrant with sunlight and stayed low key in normal lighting, but since my hair had never been colored before, I was worried about how it would turn out. He assured me that it could be done and he wanted to minimize the damage to my hair by not bleaching it, which made me feel a lot better (it was my first time coloring my hair ever, so I was very anxious!). The color turned out really nice, and he even styled it for me for the extra umph. I'm really happy to have been recommended to this salon and having Stanley talk me through the process! I highly recommend this salon!

  I was very nervous trying out a new salon because l'm not from the area. However after intense research I felt that Meet Y Hair Salon seemed like a good place. When I went in they were super friendly and I was quickly attended on. I got just a trim to my hair and long layers and l can say she did a marvelous job I highly recommend this hair Salon!

  I followed Stylist KEN from Sub Image (Flushing) to Meet Y. Ken gives me Bridget Bardot bangs and pretty layers for almost 4 years! Just show him few pictures and he will recreate it. Super talented stylist, highly recommend!

  My stylist was KEN (previously at Sub Image Salon in Flushing). Ken got good eyes for styles that compliment your personality. Friendly and detail orientied (perm and cut). Highly recommend!
