::I can’t say enough good things about this location and their employees. Reserving a time slot online was easy and I was able to complete almost all forms ahead of time. There was a bit of a delay but definitely not as long as most urgent cares (I was there for about an hour, start to finish). I felt heard & understood and everyone (down to the cleaning lady in the first floor lobby) were extremely friendly. MedStar gained a new “customer” because of this experience.

::Saw Dr. Carpenter-Edmond and absolutely loved her. She did a great job talking me through her diagnosis/ treatment plan and made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. Dr. Carpenter-Edmond was also super conscious of my time and wanted to make sure we covered all bases so I didn’t need to come back/make another appointment. I actually left thinking I wanted to look her up to see if I could make appointments with her in the future - highly recommend!

::I have never received such poor care. I regret not going to Patient First, as I typically do. The PA who saw me basically dismissed me. I was having symptoms from a medication change. The PA asked, "do you have someone who can drive you to the ER?" and when I responded "NO, my family is out of town" she responded with "Oh, well I suggest you drive yourself there". My heart rate was at 123 bpm at this point. The PA ordered an EKG, which seems to be the ONLY thing they can do here. They can't even give IV fluids. After the EKG, the PA never even came back into the room! No one ever discussed the results with me! The nurse's aid was very kind, but the PA seemed like she had never seen a patient before. I was in distress and she offered no advice, no remedy, NOTHING. I waited over an hour to be seen, even after scheduling an appointment. I received the bill recently - $500 for the WORST care ever. What is this place even for if you can't do blood tests, can't give IV fluids, etc? If I could rate 0 stars I would. I've never had a doctor NOT come in the room after a test. Most bizarre thing ever. STAY AWAY unless you just want to empty your wallet for no reason.

::Really great urgent care! Not crowded at all, short waiting times, really clean, and very comforting staff. I was really impressed with everything! And they accept Hopkins student insurance which is the best part. This will definitely be the urgent care I will continue to come to.

::Firstly, the front desk staff have been very friendly and helpful as I witnessed them go above and beyond for other patients in the lobby. Secondly, all the Nurses are a delight. Very empathetic, caring and patient, which is something I really appreciated as I was going through some difficult medical situations. Thirdly, I’ve had appointments here at almost every time of day, with my visits from start to finish to include medical tests, only taking 1 hour- 1 1/2 hours. That’s an AMAZINGLY short amount of time to spend in any urgent care/emergency room scenario especially when taking COVID precautions. I highly recommend this location if you’re seeking a clean, professional, and caring environment.
