  Nice clean facility and very nice staff. We arrived 5 minutes before our appointment at 9:30am and were quickly taken back by a staff member to get temperature and blood pressure. The only point of disappointment was the 45 minutes wait after that to finally see the doctor - with no explanation or apology for the delay. The medication I was prescribed helped almost immediately. I do appreciate the service provided! Thanks. -Jesper

  I made an appointment in advance of my arrival and when I entered the lobby, was warmly greeted by the Front Desk. Check in was quick and easy. I was taken to the exam room within minutes of arrival. The tech that took my vitals was kind and asked if I was comfortable. The PA, Diane, listened to my reason for the visit and professionally conducted an evaluation. Not only did she call in my prescription, she also gave me a copy of the RX in case there was any problems at the pharmacy. Thanks to all of the staff members for making the experience a positive one. I appreciate you!

  This was my first visit to MedStar Urgent Care. I went there for a minor issue rather than to my PCP because it was right next door to my home. I was waited on immediately. I filled out the necessary forms, and then I was taken into the exam area for vital signs to be taken. Then I went to an Exam room. After several minutes, a PA entered. She listened to my description of my medical issue, engaged me in conversation about it, and then explained that it was benign. A few minutes later she returned with my departure papers, and I left. I was there for not quite an hour, and I felt well treated there.

  Had a recent walk-in visit at MedStar Health Urgent Care in Columbia. The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I had to wait about one hour to be taken back (was a fairly busy day). The attending physician was pleasant, thorough, and listened to what I had to say without making me feel rushed. They ran some tests and then I had to wait for a while until the Doctor came back to review the results and make his recommendations. Overall, it was a good experience and I was happy with the Doctor. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the wait time. I spent 3 hours there and thought that their routine could be more efficient.

  Excellent customer service - wonderful people skills and handles with care. This was my first time being at a health care facility since the pandemic. I was extremely anxious and completed my paperwork in my vehicle. Within 10 minutes of taking vitals, I felt more comfortable with my nurse and my blood pressure began to go down. I needed assistance the entire time - getting up and down from the wheelchair, positioning for the X-ray, opening a water bottle , etc. I was so useless as the pain progressed that an additional nurse was called for assistance. To my surprise she was equally angelic as the first nurse. MedStar Urgent Care - Columbia has a a great team and the nurses are amazing.
