::A real German restaurant. 💯 With real Germans. And real German food. Don't forget the real German beer. Schnitzel was excellent. The goulash was even better. The old photos and the old features of the dining area just enhanced the entire experience.

::Lovely night out with friends from out of town. I didn’t take a a picture of mine but I had Veal Schnitzel which was awesome. My boyfriend and friend had the mushroom spaetzl with grilled chicken and friends daughter had the Rueben and I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t mind leaving off sauerkraut and thousand island sauce. Jennifer was a great waitress! Loved the live music and being in the bier garden. Perfect night!

::Came here for dinner on a Wednesday. It was pretty slow, and got seated straight away. The server was outstanding, being the perfect balance of attentive and unobtrusive. Very nice selection of beers, mostly German, of course. The menu was quite limited, but still sufficient. Got the pretzel from the appetizer list, and it was fantastic! Largest pretzel I've ever seen. Came with beer cheese and mustard, which was nice to have and go back and forth between the two. The fish and chips were pretty good. Pretty generous portions, and I couldn't finish it all. The reuben was really good, too. Overall, it was a bit spendy, but worth it to sit in the oldest restaurant in Cinci. The history there is pretty incredible. Definitely worth the trip!

::I love old traditional restaurants especially Ole school German restaurants and when you can tell and taste the reason why a business last so long its always easy to see. The food, service and ambiance is top notch. The building in fun is a little deceiving but once inside your transformed to the old school charm

::Service is slow. Food is okay. Go for the atmosphere of Zinzinnati's oldest restaurant and the outdoor seating available with fire pits. At several different points after ordering they had to inform us that a dish or certain ingredient was out of stock. Ideally, the restaurant should let us know before ordering what items are not available. I would recommend the Currywurst for a child as it's basically sausages in ketchup.
