  Went with my girlfriend to grab some cheese through the Groupon (which was a fantastic deal) and snag an extra bottle on the side. The staff was wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable (but totally understanding that I wasn't), spending a lot of time helping us pick out what we wanted. Lots of tasty cheeses! I hope in the future the cured meat variety expands a little. The wine selection isnt huge but is obviously carefully picked by those who enjoy it, with a huge budget range so no problem finding something good that wont bust the bank. I am definetely going to be a repeat customer (also was told they get new stuff all the time!) Screw total wine. Support small business!

  Great place for interesting and affordable wines. No snobbery, but wines any wine snob would love, at blue collar prices.

  Found this place by accident. The manager was very friendly and personable. We picked up a couple of bottles. Reasonable prices. They have their grand opening this weekend. I'm hoping they will become a permanent part of the community. We have an outrageous number of cleaners and three or four cigar shops. Seems a boutique wine shop is needed.

  The Vineyard is my favorite wine shop in McLean. The staff is very knowledgeable, and they have free wine tastings every weekend. When they didn't have what I was looking for in stock, they were able to special order it for me.

  Great little shop with an owner who is knowledgeable about his craft. He won't just say, "I recommend this," but instead will describe some of the varying characteristics of the wines he proposes. There's wine at different price points too. Highly recommend.
