::We walked in after a long day and were greeted so warmly by the GM. Had some handcrafted cocktails them the hostess welcomed us to get a table, she was so warm and welcoming, she convinced us to sit and have a bite when all we were there was for a quick drink!! We enjoyed ourselves IMMENSELY and will be back to enjoy more, the menu was quite interesting, we were quite impressed with everything!!

::Great food! Great decor! My friend and I decided to have dinner here on her last night in NYC and it was a great choice. We both had the nut crusted goat cheese salad and love it! I'll definitely be back.

::DON'T EVER GO HERE! Consider yourself warned. They will charge your credit card undisclosed amounts without asking and refuse to give a receipt. I came here with a friend on a Fri evening. After we were seated at a table the waiter insisted on taking a credit card "as insurance". (Weird. But we figured it wasn't any different than starting a tab at the bar so I gave him my credit card.) After the waiter took our order we never saw him again. We tried to get his attention, but he ignored us. About 40 min later we went down to the bar area. I asked about our tab and my credit card. The bartender informed me that our waiter had already left for the night and charged my card as a "walk out". (What?!?! We never left our table!) I asked about getting a receipt for the charge on my card. The bartender told me she couldn't give me one. (I was a bartender previously, so I know that's not true.) I asked if I could speak to a manager because I didn't like the fact that my card was charged an undisclosed sum without a receipt. The bartender told me there wasn't any managers on duty. (From my previous bartending experience I know that was also a lie. There is always a manager on duty). I insisted that I wasn't leaving the restaurant without a receipt. I was a bartender for many years. It's very easy to print a receipt for a transaction that occurred that same night. (Why did they have to resort to lying about that?!) Eventually a woman came out and said she was a "supervisor" not a "manager" but there was nothing she could do. (Seriously?! They resorted to playing a game of semantics rather than just give me a receipt.) Compete and total BS. This bar is full of liars and swindlers. Consider yourself warned.

::The bartender was nice. The chef apparently has an obsession with truffle oil.My salad was covered in truffle oil, my pasta was covered in truffle oil, many of the menu items had truffle oil. One of the only times I've ever had to go home and brush my teethafter a meal. The chicken was dry with the undercooked pasta and the salad that was arugala, goat cheese balls, green olives and beets ( and truffle oil). It was completely unbalanced and both dishes lacked seasoning. All in all pretty unsatisfying.

::Great ambience, great beers on tap. Love the happy hours here, even on Fridays. Their hummus and pita platters are so good. So is the calamari. The whole setting is a nice blend with an Irish bar and an upbeat Manhattan bar. Servers are also very friendly and there is ample seating, with different seating layouts.
