  Wide assortment on the menu. Lemonade was tasty and the giant spuds are just that -- giant! They were good as well. They have a great deal for kids meals in the evening that will keep my family coming back often!

  Love going in, everytime there are smiling faces. Everyone speaks to you even if they are not “waiting” on you. All of the staff seem to being willing to offer advice on what is a favorite and a must try. Food is filling and spot on in taste. Look forward to eating there again.

  Let me start by saving I absolutely love McAlister's. I'm originally from Illinois where there are several near my hometown and where I went to college, so I've been a ton and have tried many of the items. I was thrilled when one came to Tempe. But this location seems off to me. The tea is still amazing and the service has always been great, but sometimes the food hasn't seemed right. Twice I ordered a sandwich and it came with ingredients not specified on the menu - and they happen to be ones I can't stand so I didn't like the food. Once the cheddar soup was way too thick and goopey and once a sandwich didn't come with an ingredient. Maybe they are still working out their kinks. I guess the point of my review is that hopefully the restaurant notices and it can help with their kinks. Plus if anyone goes and is underwhelmed, to not discount them completely (McAlister's really does have some delicious food), so it might be a one-off thing.

  We ordered take out. The food was good. The only complaint is they got my wife’s order wrong... this did detract from the over all experience. Other than the order not being correct it arrived on time. Was still hot. I would go back again. Maybe next time they can get it right.

  I was excited when they finally opened one here in Tempe because I use to love going to this place when I lived in Florida. I took my husband for him to try it for the first time but sadly we were both disappointed. It didn't taste fresh, some of it was dry, and the sandwiches are way smaller and not worth it for the price. The lemonade and Ice Tea are still good though and the people are super friendly. But unfortunately we wont be going back at least not the Tempe location.
