  Tried to scam me. I went in for rear brake pads and they call and tell me my front calipers are binding. They say I need new front calipers, 4 new pads and 4 new rotors. $800+. After I looked into it I found out you can just replace the caliper pins and/or have them lubricated. Binding calipers are a very common problem and they don’t need to be replaced because of it. It’s one of the most common scams mechanics try when doing brake jobs. One guy I talked to said he heard his co worker trying to order a pin kit but couldn’t get one. If you already knew you could just replace the pins for $20, why did you try to charge me for all new calipers at $160 each? The next guy I talked to told me he didn’t think you could just change the pins. If I can find that info in a 10 second Google search and you don’t know it, you’re either lying or an idiot. They also gave no explanation as to why the rotors needed to be replaced either. I’ve used Mavis in the past and not had any issues but never used this location. I definitely never will. Do not trust these people. They are exactly what you are afraid of when looking for a car mechanic.

  I was impressed. Excellent customer service! Everything was shown and explained to me that needed to be fixed n why. They work fast and your waiting isn't long. Prices are great!!! I couldn't ask for a better experience.

  I drive about 45 minutes just to go to this Mavis. Best place hands down. Dan always goes above and beyond.

  Do not go here for an oil change! I have made appointments for my two cars several times and the appointments mean absolutely nothing. Last time, I got there at my scheduled time and they told me it would be 1.5 hours before they took my car. What is the point of making an appointment if I am going to have to spend the entire morning there waiting for my car? Will never go back again!
