Juicy Lucy burgers live up to the hype! So delicious!! French fries were tasty as well. The only downside is they don't take credit cards or checks (luckily there is an ATM on site). Definitely worth a try!

Very good Juicy Lucy. At first I was expecting something extravagant. The burger looks so simple until you take the first cheese squirting bite. I would wait a few minutes before that first bite though. Don't come here expecting to be catered to. The servers don't have time to accommodate every picky request. The space is a little small with the tables placed between the booths and the bar counter, but hey, if it isn't for those extra tables, your wait would be longer on busy days.

I’ve always wanted to try this place and finally I was in town and was able to. And it did not disappoint. The Jucy Lucy was phenomenal and the fries were excellent. The onions on the burger really put it over the top. Great food. Cold beer. Great service. What else do you need?

The food was delicious and our waitress was awesome. There was a minor mishap when there happened to be a small grease fire and they had to reset everything. It took about an hour to do that, then they started cooking again. Well worth the wait. The waitress have the meal to us on the house due to said wait. She was awesome. The food was so worth the wait!

Whenever possible it's always great to go to the original. Matt's Bar and Grills one of those places. I had always heard of the Juicy Lucy Burger, and this was the place to get one to really experience it. It's an old neighborhood bar, that's been there forever. You can see the age in the place, but that's what makes it so great. The locals swear by it, and I can see why. The Juicy Lucy itself is like two burger patties with cheese in the middle pinch the edges and then fry it up. What you get when you bite into it, is almost liquid cheese coming out. It is really outstanding. Highly recommended.
