  Food was good but service was really appalling. As we all sat down, someone in our party severely hurt her finger on the rickety wooden chairs they use at the back of the restaurant. After explaining what happened to our waitress, she nonchalantly offered us ice. The injured member of our party ran crying to the bathroom to run cold water over her finger. After returning, the waitress came back sometime later and didn't even ask how the situation was. Didn't even apologize or inspect the chair. We were all astounded at how unprofessionally the staff was handling the situation. We won't be going back.

  You get a good amount of food in one serving. I would pass on the salad, nothing really special. The buratta on the other hand was nice and creamy.

  Lovely Cozy Restaurant food served family-style. Nice white tablecloths on the tables and a pretty setting. The waiters are excellent and so is the food. It's a lovely place to go for dinner anytime with friends with family

  Totally enjoyed my dining experience here. Very nice atmosphere and attentive wait staff. My meal, appetizers and dessert were delicious. Have to recommend the mozzarella sampler...excellent.

  The best New Year's Eve I've ever had in a restaurant. You know how New Year's eve is usually sub par in both food and service no matter where you go? Well not at Matteo's. The food and service were both outstanding. The DJ was also excellent. He somehow played the music loud enough to dance yet miraculously I could also carry on a normal conversation. Probably my most enjoyable New Year's Eve ever.
