  My daughter was looking for a tutor to help her with her college math. She has always had a hard time understanding math and was not very optimistic about passing her class. The way that Faith caters to the individual and the way each person learns has been so instrumental in my daughter's success. Faith truly cares about her students and is so supportive no matter what level they may be at. My only regret is that we didn't find her sooner!

  I have had the privilege of having Faith as my math tutor. I am currently a UW undergraduate and in Math 111. I have never had a good math education until now. Most math teachers and even tutors, have this innate understanding of math and they never understand where I am coming from when I say I don't understand. I need every step explained to me and even further assistance grasping back ground material in order to complete current material. And Faith, not only has a background in math but has a background in education. This is a significant part of her tutoring style that has helped me significantly. She understands that even though I am college level, I haven't necessary learned the necessary material that is usually expected at college level. My high school and even community college did not prepare me in the way that I feel most students are prepared. Faith explains material in a way that is easy to understand and gives me the opportunity to demonstrate what I learned. She is extremely patient and has given me access to resources that will help me outside the tutoring session. She even helped me realize my math anxiety and validated that it's a normal response. Which is something that has helped my performance all together. I highly recommend Faith as a math tutor.
