::My husband bought me a 6 month membership for Mother's Day. I called and spoke with someone prior to the appointment who was very helpful and friendly. At my appointment, my masseuse Sean asked good questions about what I wanted to focus on and how much pressure I prefer. A few minutes into the massage he checked to make sure the pressure was right. He was very talented and did a job on par with high end spas. I am not sure I got the full 50 minutes, we ended at 1:50 for a 1pm appointment with a short convo and time to undress, but we may have started early. I will keep a closer eye next time, but I was very relaxed and have no complaints. It was odd for me not being able to shower off the oil before getting dressed, but I understand that is part of how they keep the prices down. My daughter and I are doing facials next month and I am looking forward to it!

::The massages are great, when it actually gets scheduled. I had an appointment for last Monday and somehow it either wasn't scheduled or got cancelled without my knowledge. The two young ladies at the counter said that no masseuses were available at the moment but that a stretch session was available. I declined the stretch session because I wanted a massage. They looked through the calendar and the next available appointment wasn't until the following week. I chose not to schedule an appointment and instead went home, got the appointment card I was given when I made my appointment earlier in April. When I returned and showed them the appointment card they said they would give the card to the manager who would be in in the morning and would give me a call. 8 days later I still have not received a call from the manager at Massage Envy Port Jefferson Station. The two young ladies at the front desk did a sub par job of customer service in my opinion. They should have reached out to other local Massage Envy branches to see if anything was available meeting my schedule needs within the next 48 hours. If nothing was available, they could have offered to put me at the top of the waitlist for the rest of the week so if anything became available I would have an opportunity to fill that spot and make up for the botched up appointment. Again, the massages are great, if you can get one.

::I have been under an unusual amount of stress and a friend suggested that I try MASSAGE ENVY, well I am delighted to report my experience was top notch. My massage therapist Sean was knowledgeable, kind and thorough yet gentle. The employees in front were equally as pleasant and helpful. In fact a colleague of mine asked where to go and receive a massage locally TODAY, and of course I referred her to Massage Envy in Port Jefferson Station, NY!

I now get massages more than once a month. I value my health, and my massages are an integral part of my health and wellness plan that enables me to be a better mother and teacher!
