Very disappointing. I had a 4PM appointment scheduled recieved a call 2 days prior to come in at 2PM. I arrived at 2:07PM (parking situation is atrocious). Checked in, had my vitals taken and at 3PM inquired what my status was. I was told be appointment was at 4PM!!! If I didn't ask why I was waiting 45 minutes they would just have me sitting in the waiting area for 2 hours. Prior to arriving today I called 2Xs to let them know I would be a couple of minutes late for my 2PM and all I kept getting was voicemail. There are many programs available elsewhere, do not waste your time and money on this one. Save yourself the aggravation. *my rating is not just based on today's situation but my cumulative experience... from the original contact 5 months ago up to today. I am very disappointed.

I went to another program in the area, close by that is working so much better(Lost 28.8 pounds in 51 days). That is why I know this one is a joke. About 2 years ago I went. Went to doctor, he said lose 30 lbs, and we will do the surgery. I asked how, he said doesn't matter. Psychologist they make you meet with just reads questions of a sheet, like "Do you want to off yourself". Surprised since its affiliated with Harvard.

This program is saving lives ,yes its work but well worth it. I have never had a single issue trying to get an appointment. If your thinking about the surgery do it.

The people posting a poor experience, are the impatient bunch that could not take the pressure of the WHOLE experience. Yes, there are many meetings, and payment for parking, and yes, even having to actually WALK from fruit street to Stanifotd. My orientation was August, 2016, and my surgery is finally scheduled for April 13. I'm excited but nervous since I've never had an operation before, but am 100% confident in the team overseeing me. Please, if your having problems caused by your weight.......listen to your Dr. If your being advised toward M.G.H Weight Center. You'll be pleasantly surprised how you eventually feel like family. Nurtured. Good luck!!!
