::MUIH is an outstanding university focused on integrative health and wellness. They are an accredited university and GI Bill benefits can be used there as well. Aside from the outstanding education, the university campus also offers a small bookstore, cafe and library, as well as a natural care center where a variety of wellness services are offered.

::I am not the type to spend time reviewing a business or product but feel that this fully accredited and thriving university deserves one. I will assume that you are reading this review because you are weighing your options for one of their programs, and like myself, like to read reviews about the school while comparing them to other schools and similar programs. I spent almost 6 months researching degrees in nutrition before making a decision and can gladly say that I do not regret choosing this university. I am enrolled in their online M.S. in Nutrition and Integrative Health program with an AOC in Herbal Medicine and have been pleasantly surprised with the amount of time that the faculty dedicates to each student enrolled in the classes. They are heavily involved in our discussion boards for every single module and quickly respond to personal e-mails. As an online student that has no access to their campus due to being overseas or in a different state, this is a huge deal because I am receiving the same level of attention as if I were in a classroom setting. The teachers are far from lenient when it comes to course work, which determines the quality of work produced by the students. This should not deter you from attending this university; rather, it should encourage you because you can be sure that they will prepare you to write like a scholar. When it comes to the faculty's knowledge on the subject matter, I believe it surpasses my expectations in that not only do some of the professors have decades working in their perspective fields, but they know how to bring that knowledge to the students to help us be future leaders in the field. Last, but not least, are their whole foods cooking labs, which I believe are a unique and crucial part of a nutrition program. I do not want to go into details describing them but I believe that this knowledge is the piece that is missing when providing nutritional counseling. We haven't learned this but I believe behavior changes are facilitated when the practitioner is able to help the patient/client recreate their personal meals to meet their specific needs as opposed to completely changing their diets to mimic what someone else considers to be the perfect meal. I want to further say that I hope I have provided relevant insight from a current student's perspective and wish you the best of luck in choosing a program!

::Do your research before attending this school. It has a very bad reputation amongst the acupuncture and Chinese medicine community as far as charging ridiculous tuition rates but not delivering a quality education.
