::There are two types of people who attend MLK magnet. Those who absolutely love it, and those who absolutely hate it. From my personal experience, I strongly disliked MLK Magnet because the work load and pressure caused me to become depressed and anxious 24/7. I attended MLK 7th-10th grade before transferring to a Sumner County School. However, everyone is different, and some may even like the challenge that MLK offers. I know plenty of people who still go to MLK and love it. I would not recommend you send your child here though. It is seriously a struggle to keep up with everything, and it only gets harder each year you advance to the next grade. If your child is already in MLK Magnet and they have asked to change schools, please let them. Let them succeed in another school, instead of fail in this school.

::I received a quality education from this place. I will ALWAYS appreciate the values I gained from being in this type of institution. I was more than prepared for post-secondary studies. I love my Alma matre

::I hate this stupid place more than I hate life itself. And that says something, considering that I am writing this while standing on the top of the Empire State Building. My hatred for MLK is the only thing keeping me alive right now. Long live Hillwood! Long live Overton! LONG LIVE MARGARITAVILLE!
