  I consigned my soprano saxophone with them. I was told that as soon as it sold they would send me a check. I hadn't heard from them in a while so I called. Turns out it had been gone for a while. It took almost two more months to get the check from them because the owner kept forgetting. I ended up having to go up to the store and pick it up. Would not recommend consignment with these guys.

  It was truly amazing, one of the best music stores in Raleigh. SamAsh is trash compared to them.

  I was at Marsh Woodwinds today. The store is full of older, unique woodwind instruments, and somewhat cluttered with miscellaneous art, chairs, records, bicycles and other things which were fun to look at. I was informed ahead of time if the flute I was bringing in for repair needed major repairs that I would need to drop it off. When I arrived, a technician took the flute, diagnosed it with a bad cork, repaired it, and handed it back to me working in under 5 minutes. The entire repair was $5! I actually offered to pay more and they declined my offer. I'm sure many repairs are more complicated than mine was, but my experience was top notch.
