  Half way point on 3 mile hike around park road.no access to house but there is restroom nearby.nice views of long island sound. Watched osprey feeding young in nest on chimney.

  Being a Chicagoan I spent a good deal of my childhood shopping with my Mother or Grandmother at Marshall Field's and probably still have an iconic green shopping bag in my attic. This house is gorgeous, I wish it were open to the public. The area around it is gorgeous with the sea and the all of the nature, it is hard to believe you are on long island and not up in Maine.

  Very simple and European style park. A historic house surrounded by green fields overlooking the water. There are nice bathrooms close by near the walking trail. The house is locked and seems to be under construction.
