  Great location but the hotel is very old and if u like a modern layout this hotel is not for you. The staff is great. My room had a wall 3ft from the WINDOW. It was like living in a basement. I had keep lights on in the day too. The flooring is wood but very squeaky. Its good to shoot a horror movie. The closet was a boiler room. Won't go their again.

  Building was built in 1918 as an engineering school. The building definitely shows its age but is clean. The front staff are very friendly and very informative. We recommend the valet parking as street parking is very challenging. I rated this as a 3 instead of a 4 due to the fact there are no dressers or even a closet in our room. We hung our coats on the bed posts and put our overnight bags on the floor. The room is spacious though with a small sitting room. When we checked in we were asked if we wanted a view of the space needle. We can see the needle but it's through a mesh net and the HVAC unit of the building next door. We would consider staying here again but only if the price was right.

  Quality old hotel. Great staff. Super walkable. No elevator, so pack light or tip the bellman. Huge room. Full kitchen was awesome. Breakfast had all you need.

  If you're looking for a vintage, unique, friendly place to stay in an ideal location for tourists, this is your spot. If you're looking for a modern, plastic, cookie-cutter place to sleep with nary a chip of paint in sight you should probably looks somewhere else. We stayed here with our kids. They loved it. Staff was top notch, breakfast was good, room was plenty big and comfortable for 5 of us (2 queen room). Easy walking distance to Seattle Center. Views of the Space Needle if you're on the third floor (totally worth the walk up). Stores and restaurants everywhere. Bus line just around the corner. But just staying here was an event in itself. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Seattle.

  The Marquee is an intriguing old building full of character. The staff we encountered was both personable and engaging. I can't help but wonder, though, it it doesn't cater more to short-term residential stays than to overnight guests. Our room was well prepared and came complete with a little sitting room, breakfast nook, and kitchenette. There were an adorable set of twins, perhaps 3 years old, who took great delight running up and down the hallway; and a loud multi-room party one floor up which continued later into the night than perhaps optimal for our sleep.
