  I am so glad I found Dr. Backhus and his team. This is the best dentist I have ever had. They are super nice and Friendly and always make sure you are comfortable. The office is super clean and professional. Most of all they are clear and straightforward with you about what dental services you may need. I really appreciate them and no longer dread visiting the dentist.

  Dr. Mark Backhus has been my dentist for 17 years. He is clear and concise in regards to dental treatments and his recommendations for each patient. He does not do any work that is not needed. His honesty is refreshing!! I would recommend him to anyone!!!

  My experience with Dr. Mark Backhus was very pleasant. He made me feel very comfortable with the plan of treatment they had for me. He went above and beyond in helping me with a chipped tooth I have had for over 10 years and never thought of getting it fixed. My smile has not looked this healthy since the day after I had my braces removed. The other members of his staff are warm and friendly. You really get a sense of them being more like a family than a team. I trust Dr. Backhus to be my preferred dental provider for many years to come =)

  I've been a regular patient of Dr. Backhus since he first opened in Carmichael. And I LOVE one of his hygienists, Laura. She always takes special care to ensure my time in the chair is pleasant and pain free. Dr. Backhus always has a great story to start off his check. I always feel very included in all the decisions made about the care of my teeth.
