This place is awesome! The ONLY reason I cant give this place five stars is the price BUT!!! You pay for what you get. So if you want killer steaks or out of this world bread or hard-to-find condiments Marczyks is the place for you. Friendly staff cool location and very unique vibe. 15 bucks for a sandwich? Totally worth it!

Excellent shop for groceries. The meat and fish are top quality. The service is knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of interesting specialty foods. Some of the best mustards one can find. The bread is made fresh every day. The deli offers sandwiches made to order. Really good

Good meat selection, especially since the Capitol Hill Whole Foods shut down. A reasonable produce section and a smattering of dry goods make it a one stop shop for dinner. Their sandwiches are yummy too, and the other prepared foods look great, but I haven't tried them.

Great place for meats, cheeses and breads.....OMG the breads! Made fresh each day and to die for! Always bring in friends from out of town and they fall in love with the place as well. Prices are high but in most cases worth it. That said, a fruit pie should not cost $25. They may need to rethink that one.

This isn't my everyday grocery store due to cost (they mean it when they say FINE foods), but I love shopping here. The meat and seafood counter is fabulous when you want to treat yourself and the produce is reasonably priced and always in great shape. I learned how to shuck oysters this week and the butcher who was behind the counter at the time when I was buying them was extremely friendly and helpful when I asked questions (THANK YOU!). The folks who work the liquor side are also very helpful and have great insight into food pairings.
