  Let's be honest, overinflated prices are to be expected at a gas station convenience store. Friendly service is a crapshoot here. A big smile and some cheerful banter today, barely acknowledged other than their hand held out for payment the next time. That said... They'll gladly order and keep in stock a particular item. They know the regulars and the things they purchase. And best of all, fuel prices are lower than any other nearby gas stations.

  The marathon on bryan station rd. That used to be a BP are ran by some old guy and his dumb ass arab buddies. I got off of work late tonight and all banks were closed, so I called marathon and spoke to some guy that could hardly speak english. I asked the man if he could cash my check, he asked how much it was for and I told him 800$, he says yes but you have to get here in 10 minutes because we are putting the money in the safe. So I tell my wife to get our 3 month old child in her car seat and we have to go now! We rush to get there and I have to drive 5 miles in less than 10 minutes now. So I arrive and and they have about 5 customers in the store, there is an employee sitting on the floor and one is sitting on the counter with his legs up. I walk up to the old man that was showing little interest in customer service and hand him my check, he looks at it and says WOW like it was a lot of money or something. Rudely he says ive never heard of this company before I cant cash this check. I say Sir I just called and was told to hurry and get here and I could have it cashed. He asks who did you talk to? As if it wasnt obvious I had spoke to the guy sitting on the counter next to the phone.. I say whoever answeres the phone told me to come here, he says "well I didnt tell you to come here ". He holds my check in the air in front of the entire store and asks a CUSTOMER if he had heard of the landscape company that ive worked for over 5 years. The customer walks to the counter with a confused look and shakes his head no. Desperate now I say sir I have an infant in the car and i just used what little gas I had to come here, cant you just call the number to verify please? He looks at me with an inconsiderate face and bluntly tells me NO. This gas station is a joke, its nasty, and they run the place like they own it and couldnt care less about customers. Idk maybe the old guy owns it and pays his Arabic goons under the table to sit around and do nothing at all.
