  I was at a conference in Miami and wanted to get out of the hotel. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. I took an Uber from the Intercontinental to Wynwood and then walked to the restaurant. I showed up at about 7:00 with no reservation and was promptly seated. The outdoor patio was great, secluded from the street with viewing access to the kitchen and server station. It was bustling, lots of couples, families and peeps out for the night (was a Friday). I ordered a beer and the moussaka. The crusty bread was served in a small paper bag, and was perfect with olive oil. The moussaka was bomber, super creamy served in a small ramekin. I love making moussaka at home, I have a couple recipes (one vegetarian, one lamb) and this was by far the est moussaka I've ever had. Service was good, servers were jovial, and having worked in restaurants for 25 years I was able to commiserate. Good conversation. The only reason I would give four stars is because they should have warned me that dining alone was selfish and I should have brought my wife :)

  Uma delícia! Apesar da chuva, que foi o que acabou nos trazendo direto pra cá, o local é demais. Um pátio arborizado, com um atendimento ótimo, sem pressa, bem diferente dos restaurantes americanos que parecem não ver a hora que você vai embora. Comida deliciosa, local simples, mas sofisticado ao mesmo tempo. E, não poderia deixar de comentar o atendimento do Ahmed, um americano, gente boa no último, que nos ajudou a escolher os pratos gregos do local. Amamos!

  Our visit to Mandolin Bistro was a pleasant surprise. As you walk to the front door, you have no idea what awaits once you get in. You will be seated in a garden-like patio, with birds singing and flowers blooming. The atmosphere is very personable, with around 50 tables packed with people enjoying themselves. They grow their own vegetables in the backyard garden area! The service is outstanding. There are enough waiters to take care of everyone in fashionable manner. Our waiter, Gabriel was quick, knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. The food was total deliciousness. After finishing with our meals, we ordered a take out for a friend. Thank you guys, we will be back.

  I love it! Great small plates. Expect to get many platters. Great place with amazing dishes and new tastes in food. Excellent service and the tapas were delicious. Thanks guys!

  Their food was fresh and delicious. I order a steak. It was not burn buy well done. Nice cook and very friendly staffs. I like the outside seats a lot. Fresh air to enjoy the food on the weekend. Nice place to hang out with family Warm, inviting home-like atmosphere. Dine in the garden under the stars, or secure under white clouds of tarp. Or, in the dining room of the house; like in a home in the Greek islands. Romantic, delicious, charming.
