::After paying Jim to diagnose a spark problem with my cook top, he 'said' he would order a new module and install it the following week. The week went by and no Jim. He finally responded to my text saying he'd install it on a Tuesday. That was 4 weeks ago. I've called back countless times and left dozens of messages. He has committed FRAUD. He took my money for the service call and has not fixed the problem...just disappeared. Contact ANYONE ELSE BUT JIM.

::Jim is a total joker. He came to my house to repair my refrigerator. He solved the symptom but not the problem. He removed the ice and it fixed it temporarily. When the problem came back I did the research to figure out what was need to fix it. It turns out that Samsung created a part that had to be added to the the refrigerator. I told him about it and he promised to come and install it. That was November and now it is April. I've reminded him several times and he told me he was coming twice and the last time he just didn't show up and didn't even have the courtesy to call me. He obviously has no regard for his reputation or belief in standing behind his work. I like giving people the benefit of the doubt but I've gone above and beyond giving him chances to redeem himself.

::Unreliable and Unprofessional. Last month, I called Jim on a Tuesday when my washing machine broke. He happily came to my home for an $80 service fee and told me that the machine was broken. He promised to email me a list of replacement models later that day. Jim told me to choose a washing machine when I received this list and that he would deliver it and install on Thursday. By Wednesday, with still no response, I emailed Jim AND called and left a detailed voice message. That was 4 weeks ago. No one has ever called back. I had no choice but to call another appliance store who delivered a new Maytag within 24 hours. If I could give Mamaroneck Appliance 0 stars, I would have.

::I recently had an issue with my refrigerator leaking water. When I called Mamaroneck Appliance & Services, Jim came out later that same day to diagnose the issue. It was a simple fix, but I needed to shut the fridge down for several hours to defrost the frozen drain that was causing the issue. We scheduled the repair for 2 days later. I appreciated his text letting me know he was running a bit behind schedule the day he was due. He was professional and I really appreciated him being able to fix my issue quickly after calling him, since I was going to be out of town for several days. Highly recommend.
