  I have used Magic Exterminating a couple of times as well as recommending them many times. They’ve been around a lot longer than I have always on the back of the Yellow Pages and I think the first termite sniffing dog (don't quote me). The first time I called them was for an ant problem in my house. I was also a single parent with a toddler and pets, so there were a lot of factors to consider. I wasted time and money on store bought “remedies” that once I was able to read the packaging’s tiny font became evident that I would not be able to use them as specified in the directions. It’s pretty disturbing what kind of chemicals are in these consumer brands that you know are just horrible for you if you happen to have used them. Don’t waste your time, money or jeopardize the health of your loved ones. Do what I did….and call MAGIC which had me on the phone with a person. Not a menu, a knowledgeable person and clear logistics wizard as she set me up for an appointment the next morning. The next morning, the exterminator arrived a few minutes early! He was a total professional– friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He asked me a couple of questions and had a look around (after politely asking for permission). The experience exceeded any expectations I could have had. He took the time to answer all of my questions despite the fact he probably gets similar questions all day long. He assured I was comfortable with the information he gave me and to my relief, explained that the treatment he was using was safe to do so in residences with children and pets. Honestly, I don’t remember it having an odor and thought that there was no way I'd notice an impact. He was done in a matter of minutes, not because he rushed, but because he carefully assessed and knew exactly how to treat even showing me what he was doing. I wouldn’t have known my home had been sprayed if I wasn’t there to witness it. To my amazement, the one visit solved that problem completely. I had another problem a few years after unrelated to the ants. This required a similar kind of treatment and a follow up treatment which wasn't surprising. I had anticipated a long course of treatment as I had some wood rotting around the large frame of an array of large windows The exterminator who came for that issue both times, John was awesome. He was actually on a TV show at the time with a couple of other exterminators from Magic called “Rat Busters” or something similar where he and a couple of other MAGIC Exterminators dealt with one infestation after the next - rats by the hundreds. Gross! Bottom line is I can’t recommend MAGIC highly enough. There are certain service industries that are highly specialized and for which many people know little about, leaving you at their mercy.There are those who are ethical and don’t exploit the general lack of meaningful knowledge in their customers, and as we know, there are plenty that squeeze their customers as part of their business model. MAGIC, if they wanted, could have easily preyed on me and had me paying indefinitely. My experiences as well as those I’ve referred them to is that the expense and time is directly correlated to the problem and its severity and they were more affordable and effective as they didn't make promises they couldn't keep as others who got multiple estimates and tried out other companies discovered. Moreover, you’re not going to get and pay for treatment you don’t need. They know how to fix problems, quickly, efficiently, and predictably. You won’t get gouged and you will get your problem rectified. They are extremely well organized and again, beyond responsive and professional - no wonder they've been in business almost 60 years. And I think they still have a termite sniffing dog!

  I had a pretty bad bug infestation in my office and had heard good reviews from MAGIC Exterminating. The team was very responsive and professional, coming to my office very quickly after I called. They thoroughly analyzed the possible sources of the infestation and were able to pinpoint the correct one. MAGIC knew exactly how to resolve the problem and did so perfectly. Since the infestation, we are happily bug free. I did not find their pricing unreasonable and felt like we received very good value for the service we received. I would highly recommend MAGIC to anyone with an infestation in their home or office. Very professional staff and great experience!

  Can’t say enough about them. I have been thru 2 other exterminators that could not solve this problem I have been having on and off for a few months now. I was recommended by a friend to Magic, so I figured the 3rd exterminator could be a charm. It was for sure. The people in the office, the sales person who came and the man who did the job were all great. I have a contract with them moving forward to hopefully prevent the ants from coming back.

  I have been using Magic for a number of years at my home and they have always done a wonderful job. I often recommend them to friends who across the board have all been as happy as I am. They truly are exerts in their work! Efficient, prompt, easy to work with, resonantly priced and most importantly effective.

  I frantically called Magic one night when a competitor quoted me an astronomical $ (and scared the daylight out of me!) to take care of my moth infested home. They had someone at my house the next morning to inspect and calm my nerves. I hired Magic on the spot and while I prepped my house to be exterminated, I was given the head sales managers cell phone # to contact him over the weekend with any questions. I even reached out to him Sunday morning and he answered glad to help! The two men who showed up to my home were extremely knowledgeable and professional, updating my all day via text of their status. They took such great care of all my belongings and stuff in my house. I was nervous as we have very high end furniture and treatments in the house and everything was immaculate. I couldn't speak higher of the experience I had; I am a very particular person and am weary of whom I allow to work in my home and Magic was fantastic. They have also been back to check on the house and called me twice to make sure all was ok. Highly recommended!
