::This is my favorite cafe in New York. Espresso is perfect and not watered down like most places in the city - thick crema and reasonably priced at $2.25 for a single shot. The almond croissant is a great choice. .

::The coffee is great especially when Menelaos is behind the bar. Sandwiches and pies are delish. Its my go to coffee shop at least 2 a day.

::Loooooove coming here. Ahmed and Menelaos are the best. Freddo Cappuccino is the best and most consistent in Astoria. My wife and I came here more often when we lived around the corner. I go out of my way to come here in the morning before heading to work.

::Came here with my boyfriend in the afternoon because i like to support local family owned coffee shops and not Starbucks. There was one bald man working the counter. I noticed right away he had bad customer service. Extremely rude, I ordered an iced latte and the blueberry muffin, and my boyfriend ordered a regular coffee. My boyfriend asked if they put sugar in it or we do, because there was no counter in site to be able to self serve yourselve. The man said “one or two sugars” I then walk over a little and see there is a counter with sugar and straws. The man could have simply said there i sugar on the side. My boyfriend gave him the card but he saw that he had cash and didn’t swipe the card but told him it was declined. I’m assuming this is because he wanted cash since you have to pay a very small fee per card transaction. My boyfriend called the bank immediately to which the bank stated there was never any transaction. I think the owners need to reconsider who they are hiring for that reason I will not be returning.
