::So I don't ever write bad reviews. Even if I have a bad experience somewhere I usually try to be sympathetic for whatever the situation was and not leave one. Our experience at Demetrio's at the Smith haven Mall has been terrible. I ordered my bridesmaids dresses here, and my mom ordered her gown here, and we were all told they would be in no later than July. July came and went and all we were told was "don't worry they are coming" and "well we haven't missed a wedding yet" ... who says that? Well the manager did to me. We have about a month to go for the wedding and no sight of anything. Horrible at returning phone calls, week after week we kept calling and getting the same lines. Eventually, the manager told us that one of the bridesmaid lines for Dessy went out of business and that's why our dresses were delayed because they were making up for lost time. We checked with other bridal salons and found out that was a lie. Even someone who worked at our Demetrios (under this manager) confirmed that it wasn't true. We eventually got our dresses after having to get assertive and literally "yell" on the phone (then they magically came in the next day...) but we are still missing a piece of my mom's gown, that they claimed came in, we sat and waited for but no one could find... and then they called us yesterday saying that it's on it's way in (but funny because it was already told to us that it was in). Just stay away from this place. If you need to use them, tell them your wedding date is 6 months earlier than it actually is.

::I ordered my wedding dress and veil in November, for my September 2017 wedding. It is now July 8, and the dress is STILL not in. I have called at least three times over the past few months to coordinate a pick up time, as I live in upstate New York. Each time, they have apologized for it not being in yet, but "it's out of their hands." They will accept zero responsibility for the late shipment of my dress, and I have yet to speak with a manager about the issue. When I asked for a cancellation/refund (because it is now too late for me to wear the dress with appropriate time for alterations), the employee said, "you can speak with a manager, but I'm telling you it won't work." I am very disappointed with customer service and would highly discourage anyone from shopping here.

::What a wonderful experience. Me and mom decided to check out wedding dresses randomly today and we're greeted by such nice workers. They showed us styles that were not our 1st Choice but they actually looked better than what we picked. Triana and Christina were such sweethearts. They are the reason why I decided to attend the bridal show in Herald square. Don't waste your time with the local David's bridal. You will just be wasting valuable time with the bride. They carry all sizes and no body shaming.

::My mother purchased her dress at Macy's Bridal Salon for my wedding. She originally visited the salon during May to order her dress. When she purchased the dress she was told that the dress would arrive in September. My mother lives in NC and we ordered the dress in NY, which we told the salesperson when we purchased the dress because we knew it would take time to ship. Also, I am getting married in FL and my mother is arriving in FL one week before the wedding, which we also told the sales person. Today is October 14, 2015 and her dress still has not arrived and my wedding is in 3 1/2 weeks. I contacted the store during September and was assured it would be arriving soon, with at least a month before my wedding. I then contacted the store during the first week in October, which is a month before my wedding and was told the dress still has not been released and that they would get me a tracking number for the dress and have the dress expedited. I had to call at least 5-6 times to even get an answer. Christina (manager) did not return any of my phone calls and did not help me at all. They told me false information after my 6th call. They told me her dress would be released YESTERDAY and it still has not been released. Now we are 3 weeks from my wedding and my mother still doesn't have her dress, which will still need alterations and she is leaving for FL in 2 weeks. Macys customer service has been absolutely horrible. STAY AWAY! I ordered my bridal gown and my bridesmaid dresses from another salon a month after my mother ordered her dress and we have all had our dresses for over a month!!!
