::I spent 5 1/2 hours today trying to get to an associate who could help me with a purchase. I kept holding for someone (ANYONE) who would pick up the phone and answer two simple questions. The web site shows they have the item and when I finally talked to an associate (finally transferred to the wrong department) she said, "Oh no, our store doesn't have that item." Ironically, an associate 5 hours previously said they did have the item. The bottom line is that this store operates quite differently from the Macy's in Broomfield-they have gone out of their way to help me. A very good reason for me NOT to shop at the Cherry Creek location. The whole day trying to contact them was a debacle.

::It's so huge and clean and nice! All the employees were really nice! There are escalators 3 levels up!! 😀

::Macy's is a good place to shop, they carry all the brand names. If you watch the sales on a seasonal basis the prices are very reasonable. My only complaint is they don't have enough experienced help. The people try to help but they don't know their departments, and sometimes they are very hard to find. The last time we were in there was for cosmetics and the saleslady was very slow and it took forever to make our purchase. There was a sale going on and people were backed with just one person working.

::I placed an online order for pickup here. I went over to the pick up desk and there was no one working there. I waited for about 10 minutes and no came to help me. I finally went over to the asset protection guy in the front and he told me he had no Walkie to call an associate but he sent me over to a guy in the men’s department. This man was busy with other customers and told me he’d call someone to meet me at pickup. Another 10 minutes passed and no one came. I saw a girl walking around on her phone and asked her to help me. She said she was new and has never done a pickup before. She struggled on the computer and then called someone else. She said sorry and then left. Finally a lady came out and was able to grab my order. Bad experience with the online pick up but it’s normally a good place to shop.

::I had brought a purchase back without receipt for exchange. The shirt which I loved had shrunk in the wash following use instructions. Something I’m careful about because I’ve lost others in the past from being careless... I didn’t have the receipt and assumed I’d be paying for another but shared my experience anyway. Not only did they exchange with a larger size they had the replacement shipped to my house for free - they were out of stock. Amazing service. Very impressed. Thank you!!!!
