  I stopped by to get a few keys cut and can't wait to visit again. Small selection with wonderful service, a gem of a hardware store.

  Walked to Macon Hardware to get some keys copied. Met Clara, the 89 year old proprietor and her son. Super helpful, fast, inexpensive. One of the key copies (from an old, worn-down key) was a bit sticky. I took that one back and they made me new a new copy for free and also re-ran the sticky copy and let me keep it. Store has all your basic home repair hardware, and they know their stuff (while I was there I saw several happy customers get exactly what they needed, quickly and efficiently). A neighborhood institution.

  Knowledgeable family run this local hardware store, they're quick to ask what you need and point you to it. Costs are low, selection limited to the store size, but they have supplies for many home repair projects. If you're in the neighborhood and need something DIY, check them out.
