  BEST MOFONGO ON STATEN ISLAND! I love this place. And when I order the shrimp mofongo it was loaded with shrimp! Not just 4 but many, loaded inside and out! Most place skimp on shrimp but not this place. The pork mofongo is my son’s and my favorite one though. Chicken mofongo is great too. I can’t wait to try more items off the menu and when I go into pick up my order, I look at all the delicious food they have in the buffet and want to try everything. Once you have the mofongo you’ll be hooked!

  Food here is generally always reliably good, and this M&K is quite spacious and clean. It's hardly ever packed when I come in, and I'm glad because I enjoy just being able to sit sometimes instead of taking food to go. My only really complaint (or rather, recommendation) is that this location is superrrr under-utilized. I've asked staff before why M&K doesn't host events in the space being that it's so ideal and attractive, and being told that the owner prefers to keep it for private family event use only. I can't be mad at that if it's the owner's wish, but it kind of makes me sad lol. This location used to be an Italian restaurant called "Filippo's" for many years, and always had people bustling in and out. I kind of miss that atmosphere. Anyway, solid food place!

  The food was amazing! Taste like delicious homemade food. The woman that took my order informed me ahead of time that the delivery would be a while due to the weather conditions but that they would not prepare the food until it was ready to go out. I will definitely be ordering from here again & I highly suggest that you do too! :)

  The young lady behind the counter was extremely pleasant and polite and helpful. I can appreciate attentive staff, also the food is well prepared, displayed and the portions are generous. The space is well lit and clean. They are willing to deliver anywhere on the island for a fee (of course) but it is reasonable. I would hope that this establishment continues on this path. It is a recipe for success.
