  BEWARE!!!! Cashed my check and walked away... I went to use the newly installed boat lift after he had partially "completed it" and, upon further inspection, I found out that the 6 post lift had been built in a trapezoid shape rather than a rectangle!! The one side is off about 2 feet 6 inches and is completely unusable. You can see in the pictures that the lift is actually "twisted" with the cross members just touching the wood pylons... and that's without a load on it. Really hard to understand how this could happen on such an easy project?? To date, I paid almost $5,000 just in labor to MD Marine Construction (not including the actual lift or dock) for something that I cannot use. I called Matt Brown, owner of MD Marine Construction, and calmly explained the situation to him. I then asked him when he could come fix the issue as this was clearly a flaw in installation. He refused... so bottom line, he has absolutely no intention of coming back and fixing the problem. I am now taking legal action...
