  I had the best food massage and pedi done ever. Corina did an amazing job. I felt like a light pillow walking out of the place.

  i’m so disappointed. My friend and i decided to try out this place and i decided to get a regular manicure, and the color was completely off and wasn’t white at all like i wanted it to be, its transparent and brownish. it was 2 hours ago and my nails are already jacked up and chipped.

  My initial experience was terrible and i decided to give it a second chance which was equally terrible - maybe worse! Long story short I went in for a pedicure on a Thursday- arrived 710 place closes at 8. There were about. Dozen clients still being serviced. The woman who runs the front desk (maybe the owner) rolled her eyes and gave me the biggest attitude because I asked for a pedicure. Had she told me it was too late I would have understood with no problem- maybe even come back! - however she ushered me to a pedicure station (with a dirty towel mind you) and just muttered there's only time for regular pedicure I said no problem. 20 minutes I sat there- yes sat- no acknowledgement. I was trying to be patient and make the best of the hour I had off from being a mommy but I felt so disrespected I couldn't sit in there for another minute. Please go elsewhere for your nail services. No one deserves to be treated like trash!

  Editing to update. This nail salon clearly is not using licenced manicurists. Today, again, I was assigned someone who is completely unable to speak even a bare minimum of the English language. If unable to communicate they surely can't pass the mandated NJ requirements for licensing. If unable to communicate, the client can't tell them if they are hurting them, don't want a particular treatment, or trust they are following state laws. I won't return until I'm assured each person at Luxie is state licensed. I'm not risking it. Have been to Luxie a few times since they opened. Very nice spa-like atmosphere, good service, lots of choices and extremely clean.
