::THE BEST Mexican food I've ever had, bar none. The decor, as others have stated, is a bit drab, but when I walked in, looked around, saw the decor, and found I was the only Gringo in there, I knew the place was legit. It's a bit pricey for how the restaurant looks, but the food and service are the real deal. I had the Chimichanga plate with a side of beans, and Orchata to drink. Everything was incredible. I'm telling everyone I know about this place! Also take note, they use Canola oil, not lard, to fry their foods!

::Surprisingly excellent! I was invited to have dinner with a friend and listen to a country western band. Country western is not my first choice in music but I like some of it. Well, everything about this place was above expectations. It’s an old place but it was well taken care of and CLEAN. The food was very good and the band was excellent led by Rudy Grant who I had never heard of. The place was a melting pot of young, old, families, couples, singles, and ethnically diverse too. It’s a happy and mellow place. All of the musicians have been inducted into the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame so know that they were all excellent. This band plays every Friday evening beginning at 5pm and continuing until... I’ll be back! This place is a Colfax gem and best kept secret.

::Live band on Saturdays! Family owned and fresh food. Owner is always here with a smile and ready serve. Highly recommend going here. Best house margaritas too. Support a local family owned business in #Aurora

::We were greeted as if we were lost. Looks of confusion like....do you know you're in a Mexican restaurant? My guest ordered an omelette. It was way overcooked. It broke in half instead of folding over and there was no cheese. I had ordered a spicy shrimp dish that came with beans and rice and salsa. I was given 3 tortillas for the meal. I ordered a margarita and a Bloody Mary it was obvious that the contents were not mixed. The Jesus was sitting on top of the alcohol. I had two other guests with me and spent $100 treating them to what I thought would have been a nice late lunch. I hope they enjoyed the $7 tip I usually tip way more for a meal that cost a hundred bucks. I will never set foot back in that restaurant again. Other patrons were greeted as if they were good friends and happy to see them. I certainly noticed the difference shame on you.
