  What a sin, terrible dishonor to that man. The place is a dump. I've been visiting this beach since 1967 and it is underutilzed. So sad it's a little jem. It should be cleaned and renovated and revitalized. Maybe a path all the way around, a promenade for runners, moms, kids, food right there and truck in some clean sand. Please get rid of unwelcoming fence too. Make it live up to this hero or take his name off it. What a shame and what a waste. On so many levels.
