  I swear it's Home Depot with a different color sign and a name. Hey idiots some people ride bicycles and motorcycles and use backpacks... You're stealing ship from you when you walk in the door and have one on all around guilty of something as I walk through the door. Can you say Harbor Freight!

  They were very helpful. All of our questions were answered and we ended up purchasing a washer for a great price. No pressure from the associate.

  We normally shop here for household improvement projects because they give a military discount. Today we picked out 6 ten foot by one inch schedule 40 PVC pipes. We asked three times for assistance to cut these to 6 foot lengths. After waiting 25 minutes and no one showed up to help us we decided to leave and go to Home Depot. We even spoke to a manager on the way out was even less help than his employees! We'll never go back to this Lowe's

  I USUALLY like this store..... today I was in the store for approximately 35 minutes. Only one Lowe's employee acknowledged me as he passed. There were MANY workers there mostly talking to each other. I walked slowly up and down the aisles taking time to look closer at several items. I looked at the screw aisle,. Looked at new bathroom counters (I seriously want to replace mine). Looked at blinds...(didn't see anyone in this department). Looked at carpet (again, I'm looking to replace). Looked at toilet seats for very long time (I wanted help here explaining difference reliability.....didn't get any). I finally checked out..... Just a very different experience from many past visits. I'm an older woman, maybe reason for avoiding me, however, all the more reason I need help.

  I feel as if the majority of the employees 'give up' easily. I understand that the item(s) that I am looking for are not always in stock. Also, it may be an item that needs to be special ordered. I believe that this is generally a 'training' issue. The employees seem to be trained to point the customer to an aisle or a shelf. When it turns out that the product is not on the shelf, the employees give up and tell you that they are sorry. This is about as helpful as screen doors in a submarine. Where is the person who can help the customer figure out how to get it done? Or at the very least, direct the customer to another supplier that can service the customers need. You have a pro desk that is not staffed throughout the weekend. Homeowners have weekday jobs as well. Logically they will be coming in on the weekends to get what they need for maintenance on their properties. Does this sound like far fetched idea?
