::What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. You see their love an appreciation for Mr. Armstrong. I learned a lot & enjoy it immensely.

::Must visit when in Queen's. Entertaining, informative and beautifully preserved in time. Hopefully the new venue/performance space under construction opposite will continue to bring people through the doors for years to come.

::This is a little gem of a museum. If possible I would have given it 6 stars. I knew Louis Armstrong only from his music but this museum brings him to life in a very personal way. I could write a page long review of the museum but I do not want to spoil the surprise to much. I will say that the house is exactly as it was and you get the feeling that the owners can step back in at any moment. This feeling is enhanced even more by the sound recordings that are being played with recordings of Louis by Louis. Add to that a house which was decorated in a very personal way and you will not be disappointed. I think the people that setup this museum and guides that show you around have and are doing a great job. In 2019 the extension should be ready and you will be able to see even more Louis Armstrong memorabilia.

::I enjoyed being able to step back in time and listen to the recordings he made of his life & music. There a lovely garden that is adjacent to the museum and I could imagine bringing lunch to picnic there. I also enjoyed the lesson the educator gave to the school group about the sounds of the trumpet and how you play. T

::Visiting Louis' house was an amazing experience. It's not some huge celebrity mansion, it's a fairly modest family house in a residential street, but every aspect inside was created by the Armstrong's for their comfort and it's a place that they obviously loved being. Louis Armstrong was undeniably the most influential musician of the last century and IMHO the greatest musician that this planet has ever produced. He was also a great and generous human being, even casually giving away the trumpet presented to him by the King of England, to a fellow trumpeter who admired it backstage! (that trumpet is now back in the house museum, having been donated by that trumpeters widow). The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable on the subject. This is a very, very special place and I can't wait to visit again when the new visitor centre opens in 2019!
