::Historic Building. Great place to take a walk down through Grand Park on Downtown LA..

::The Daily Planet building from the original TV Superman! And of course too many other turns as a famous building in countless films and TV shows over the years and to this day. Kind of a thrill to go inside; appreciate the architecture and view the city from the 27th floor observation deck. (Free)

::When you visit the Los Angeles City hall, you can go to the 27th floor for free and admire all downtown LA from the observation deck, but you need to show an ID and it is open from Monday to Friday only.

::Los Angeles City Hall is an incredible complex with beautiful structures, with a combination of old and newer architecture. It can be a little bit of a maze to get around in, but I enjoyed my visit here. The Vintage wood doors, and lovely three-dimensional artwork I viewed on the third floor, were very enjoyable to see.

::This is one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in Los Angeles. When it was built it was a landmark that was meant to show that Los Angeles was now a force to be reckoned with. There were three days of celebrations for its opening. Take the time and go up to the top of the city hall building and go to the observation deck. A multitude of movies and TV shows have been filmed there. You'll be able to see this the that span from the ocean to the mountains.
