  Great Place for Every Season I love to visit here different times, because the view and landscape always changes,,even in the warmest months..Plus when you tour the Museum, you learn so much about the Baymen, and the boating history of Long Island..and that Blue Point is home to those tasty crustaceans. It's a great place for a summer picnic , casual date or family time.

  If you genuinely want to learn about the Long Island Baymen, the Blue Point Oyster, and the Small crafts used to troll the Great South Bay you will find it interesting.

  A really nice place to get to know the boating history of Long Island. The man at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable and gave a very thorough overview of the museum and it's history. We came on a drizzly rainy day so it wasn't too nice to walk outside but on a nice day it would be a beautiful place to walk around. Highly recommended as a way to get to know some Long Island history.

  An absolutely wonderful place, so grateful for all of the local history they've made available to the community. Such a humbling experience to realize the dedication and hard work that makes this place home. Such a feeling I get seeing how my family played such an important role in the wonderful history of West Sayville.
