  Terrible emergency room policies! I fractured the bone under my kneecap. They took an xray. Then told me to see my orthodontist. The intern doctor told me they don't do MRIs and they don't write scripts. WTH! They gave me crutches and a brace. Then pushed me out the door. No painkillers or anti inflammatory med.

  This has been my worst experience ever and they keep sending more bills months after the one visit. These people did nothing for the knee problem I came in for. They cycled you through to see every Doctor and used every test under the sun just to rack up costs. And in the end sent me home without anything for the original problem except a prescription which I had to go to a pharmacy and hundreds of dollars in bills after they raped my insurance company. I came in with knee pain and they performed tests for breathing, EKG, Ultrasound, tons of x-rays everything except what the problem was. I was about the only one there and they just seem to want to use all of their equipment. After I came home I went to an Orthopedist and the problem was only fluid on the knee. In the end the exit lead to the loading dock not the nice entrance you first came into and hundreds of dollars in bills. Stay far far away from this place.

  I rushed my son to the ER and the triage nurse Helen was amazingly wonderful. She was very fast and courteous and made sure my son was well taken care of. Also Dr. Chen was great. Thank you so much

  Honestly drove out to Long Island thinking my experience at this hospital would be better than those I’ve had in Queens, but let’s just say I should of stuck with the hospital on Booth Memorial in Flushing. The wait in the ER wasn’t bad at all (maybe I got lucky?) — it was the wait to see the doctor or even just the nurses properly communicating once I got past the ER. They were really rude; except this cute little Filipino nurse that took over and knew what she was doing when I was close to leaving (wish I remembered her name).

  Horrible experience, I wouldn't bring my dog here. The wait is unbelievably long. Their is no communication between the patients and staff. It's not clean. My opinion of anyone giving this hospital 3, 4, or 5 star works for the hospital and their not being honest! Never again!
