This Hospital has excellent service, from the minute you leave your car by the valet service everyone is extremely helpful, listening to the patient or visitor's needs. They're waiting area is very ample, they have plenty of places for people to relax while they wait for their loved ones and also to get something to eat

L&D has begun to drop its standards and qualities when it comes to patients care. They are rude and have no concern about you as a person. The nurses (most we had with the exception of 1) have this attitude and aggressiveness about them. It’s almost like they don’t want you to ask them anything or do anything. Just do what they say when they say and keep shut. The nurses here are the biggest complaint. After birth and placed on 6th, they don’t ever come. Ring the buzzer they talk to you over the mic and don’t come over. Been trying to get someone in the room for 15 mins to help with bathroom and no one wants to get their ass up. Lack of anything. Place is really starting to suck.

The maternal fetal health department is a factory and they have no heart. My child was stillborn in April and a few weeks later another patient of my doctor had the same outcome after having a similar experience with their testing. Something is not right. And now I am standing waiting to follow up for test results with the head doctor and waiting for a long time in a room full of pregnant women and the staff keeps asking if I am a new patient. My records were archived immediately after I left the hospital. I also had to deliver my daughter in between two rooms with active labor patients. Initially our experience with genetics was horrific and we should have run then. The genetic counselor gave us incorrect test results twice, and once was by voicemail. Completely inappropriate. She missed one positive test result and told us another was fine and then called back to tell us it wasn't. She tried to force us into an amnio right away after the first tests and neglected to tell is about another blood test that could be done first. Ultimately did the amnio anyway and was told everything was fine. There were problems during my anatomy sono and they finally found the cord attached to the side of the placenta but said it was fine. Then at my 28 week sono the ultra sound techs disappeared for over 20 minutes And Dr. Naanda came in and told me there was no heartbeat. I started to cry and he told me I needed to calm down. Delivery was another horror show put on by the doctors 36 plus hours and they missed that I was 8 cm and kept ignoring my pain. The nurses in labor and delivery were the only people who seemed to care. Then they tried to send me home the same day I delivered. On top of all that if you have to sit in the waiting room good luck. Chivalry is dead. The husbands and boyfriends don't give up their seats for anyone. Standing room only everytime I've been there. Maybe they should put up a big sign that says seats for patients only if the waiting room is full. My 7 year old son knows better. Please go to Winthrop they seem far more caring and competent.

Well, they delivered a healthy baby for us and the place was clean and we had pleasant nurses. It was very crowded when we arrived, however, and we finally got to our private room about 14 hours before we were dismissed.the first two days we were in areas shared with five other brand-new mothers. That was disappointing.
