Everything was fine when I got there. Until I was put in the emergency bed with some else. THIS CLEARLY A violation of the health law. I don't need for a stranger to hear me sickness. Also be showing my personal areas to . I wa's extremely upset on top of what I was feeling. This needs to change regardless of how short they are in beds or that 3 hospitals close in the area. That is not my people my prognosis should not be heard by someone I don't know. I have been extremely upset about this .I'm putting a formal complaint.

What can you expect from North Shore? One of the best hospitals. Great service. Very clean and the staff are amazing with the patients. This hospital treated my Grandmother very well and her doctor like all doctors are very attentive.

Very convenient location if you live in forest hills. Very Wheelchair accessible as you’d expect from a hospital with multiple entrances. Decent ward for maternity my wife did rotations here and we met for dinner a few times

The staff is friendly; however, on both visits, my appointment times have not been honored. On one occasion, I waited for an hour and a half, even with an appointment. I had a surgery scheduled for 11 am and it was after 1 pm before going into OR. Because of their lateness, my initial ride had to leave, and I had to figure out an alternative sign-out solution. They also ask the same questions multiple times and on several occasions lost my information and payment. They misinformed me about my surgery and the state that it would leave me in. Lastly, the PA decided that he’d let me know that I shouldn't sell my medicine. To this comment, the RN responded, ”are you seriously saying that.” I felt insulted. He tried to correct himself by explaining the ”opioid crisis,” but his comment was inappropriate and misdirected. My overall experience was not good. My surgery was scheduled for 11, and I left around 5:30p. I'd recommend a different location.
