  Excellent service. Best buffet. Military discount. Family restaurant. Plenty of parking. Several HC parking places. Accommodate requests. Excellent personnel. Excellent management. Habitual patron.

  Great food and atmosphere. My tea glass was never empty. The waitress was very kind and absolutely beautiful. Any place that has "Gunsmoke" on the TV, is my kind of place!

  My Fiance and I got engaged. We were told to try them, but we didin't even have the chance! On Tuesday I called and the women I talked to told me that "Scott" would call me back. I waited until the end of the day and we never received a call back. My Fiance called around 5 and was told that the lady who answered the phone was scatter brained. I then Called back today and was told that Scott was again going to callback. It's not 7pm and we will not be using their service. I would rather pay more for great service.I understand being busy, but we have been told that Scott was going to call us back on each occasion, which never happened.

  First time going to the restaurant and it was a great experience! We wanted to visit after watching the restaurant featured on the city of waco channel and I wanted to eat the meal that they prepared on the show. I ended up ordering the incorrectly and told the waitress and she was so accommodating. I was truly happy with the whole experience and will definitely be going back. Everyone loved the meal that they chose.

  Service was outstanding, hence the two stars. I ordered the 25 ounce sirloin steak, a baked potato and house salad. The salad consisted of lettuce and a very few shreds of carrot. I ordered a side of tomato to make a close to real salad. I requested the steak be cooked medium and it was served medium rare. I figured I could live with that since it was juicy and not overcooked. Cut into the steak and it was somewhat tough none the less. The worst part was the baked potato. When I removed the foil and cut it open, I was greeted with a black clump 1/4th the size of the spud. How can one prepare a potato for baking and not catch that big rotting part. The server apologized and took that mass away and brought me a new one. This time it was good. Overall I was very dissatisfied with the food. Lone Star has really gone down hill. I had so many good memories of the place...I guess all good things come to an end.
