Every phone conversation I have had with anyone from the place has always been done with care and kindness. They are great with caring for my mother and they even allow staff to go with her to her doctor's appointments. Joanie is wonderful to work with and it is good to know my mom is being cared for during a very difficult time in her life and in ours too.

The decision to put my Mom in a nursing home was probably the most difficult decision I have had to make. It involves every emotional response you could ever imagine – although the most riveting is the feeling of guilt. I wanted for my Mom that which I was unable to provide for her. I wanted a safe environment with a professional and caring staff that wouldn’t degrade her life’s accomplishments. The guilt that is involved in the process consumed me day and night. After having bad experiences with 2 previous nursing homes that she was in – I was convinced that I had no choice but to quit my job, move to a ranch style home and take care of my mother myself. Then I found Llanfair Nursing House Nursing Home in Wayne. After visiting the facility and meeting with a number of their staff it became obvious that this was the right place for my Mom. The facility itself is exceptionally clean and very well maintained – however the staff is what makes this facility so very different for all the others I had visited. From my first introduction to Yenal who took my Mom and me on a tour of the facility - to Rudi who is the administrator I had no doubt this was going to be a place my Mom could call home. She has been at Llanfair for almost 6 months and there is not been one day that I have regretted my decision. The entire staff is incredible and have a genuine interest in making sure my Mom is kept safe and content. I have experience firsthand this level of care from her nurse Melvin to Sharon one of the many nurses aids who have now become part of our extended family. There are no adjectives to describe how invaluable all of these people have become to our family. The staff at Llanfair not only takes incredible care of my Mom’s every need but they have created the feeling of home for her as well as a caring environment. I cannot even begin to tell you what this has done for my Mom and as much as Llanfair does for her it also helps me by lessening my feelings of guilt and gives me a sense of relief know that my Mom is being looked after. Llanfair is much more than a nursing facility – it’s HOME.

The care that my dad received from the nurses & aides was extraordinary. I could leave & know that dad was being very well taken care of. The Long Term nurses & aides were knowledgeable about dad's needs. Brenda suggested Compassionate Care Hospice, relieved that she did, the care my dad got was excellent right up to dad's passing. I highly recommend Llanfair, speak to Joanie, she handles the financial part of care. Wonderful place for your loved one.

The entire administrative and nursing staff at Llanfair House was wonderful and caring during our Dad's long term care. Llanfair is a clean, well kept facility. Our family was always well informed of Dad's health care and every issue he had by the amazing nursing and aid staff until he passed peacefully. The end of life hospice care was exceptional . We were always at ease knowing Dad was being well taken care of and highly recommend Llanfair House when seeking professional, caring long term care for loved ones.

My grandmother has been here since October of 2015. My grandfather was there until he passed away last year. The staff here is wonderful. Everything is always clean, stocked, and taken care of. This is always the case even when we drop in unannounced. There are periodic meetings to discuss her health and all health information (good or bad) is shared with compassion and empathy. Their efforts allowed my grandfather to live out his days in comfort and to have his wishes regarding his end of life care respected and fulfilled. My family feels comforted knowing that Nana is there and that she is comfortable and taken care of.
