Came here for mothers day dinner. It started to get busy. Glad we came before the crowd. We have been coming since it opened in Irvine years back. Every once in a while when we crave for hot pot, we come here. The soup base is quite unique if you have not tried it. We chose the original broth base (non spicy one) as it's not cold enough outside to eat the spicy kind. You can ask for more broth as the water gets cooked off and it becomes quite salty. We like the lamb and beef for shabu shabu. If you like the broth, make sure you order tofu so they can soak up all the broth in them! We also like the fish balls with roe inside (yum!!) We will be back when the next craving hits 😜

There’s usually a 20 minute wait here. Good pricing and food portions. Just wish they have a reservation system and they clean the sauce counter more often; it gets gross sometimes...

Love this place. How does the Mongolian hot pot works? First you choose a soup base from their original, spicy, or half and half. For me original is the best. Then, you chose your protein and veggies and noodles. Those guys have a great variety of everything. My favorite is Angus and Kobe beef, taro root, and leafy veggies and seaweed. After all the giddies are in front of you and the liquid is boiling, you start to put ingredient in the pot, cook them (for meat it’s a matter of seconds, for noodles up to 5 min) and enjoy.

My friends and wife really liked it. But for me, I think it's ok. I like hot pot and all and this one was pretty average to me compared to the others nearby. The wait was about 40 minutes on a Saturday night. Not too bad. The menu listing is pretty big, so that's good for options. The price came out to be about $165 for 5 people, no alcohol.
