Very BAD customer service! I bought a painting for $3,300 and my mum bought a metal cross made of the local cast iron balconies left over from Katrina. Firstly my painting was received rolled with a scratch of paint missing in the bottom left corner. After constant calls to the gallery the painting was finally received after 8 months! My poor mums cross two years this may still hasn't been received. Apparently customs have it as the iron is an artifact! No refund has been given!

This was the most breath taking hidden gem I have found this far in all my travels through out New Orleans! I was amazed by the open quart yard where the little tables are just perfect enough to kick back and take in the jazz music and multiple artist painting right here in the gallery! The sales men Joe was very personable and gave highly detailed information about every piece. I have yet to find such a beautiful quant nawlins style art gallery even remarkably close to this one. My husband and I ended up purchasing a piece from Lisa Victoria herself. She pours so much emotion into all of her art. It took a while to receive our sculpture however, now that it is beautifully displayed in our home we couldn't possibly be more thankful to have stumbled apon this wonderful gallery and will be purchasing many more in the future. Who knows maybe a custom commission is next in line! I highly recommend this gallery to anyone in the market for breath taking art work that simply speaks for itself and tells a beautiful story! Thank you Lisa Victoria for such a delightful experience

Well after several months of back and forth communication I am forced to post the following. My wife and I got married in NOLA in August (amazing place). To commemorate the experience we purchased a piece of art from the Gallery. We even met the artist which was awesome. After flying back home we negotiated a price with the artist and finalized the sale. My wife spoke with Lisa via email and over the phone to arrange the shipping etc. It was made clear to her that we wanted the painting to stay stretched on the wooden frame. This is where things fall completely apart. The painting arrived rolled up and not on wood as we had asked. When we took the painting out of it's shipping packaging it was rolled inside out exposing the actual painting and was wrapped several times in painters tape which was stuck to the art itself. This all took place at a local framing shop as we were interested in pricing out having the piece re stretched and put back on wood. Both ladies who own and run the store are artists and were horrified when we exposed the painting to them and how it was shipped. Both of them said they have never seen this done before and the painters tape pulled little flecks of paint off the art when we unwrapped it. We also found a slash like cut in the bottom corner of the painting but cannot be certain if it was there before it was shipped or not. At this point we decided to move forward and have the piece worked on. The total cost of the work was $267 CAD. We contacted Lisa to discuss our displeasure with both the piece being taken off wood and the tape that was wrapped around it. She denied being told to leave it on wood and said that she always ships work this way. We demanded that she pay for the work that was done. Her response was we paid to much and should have taken it somewhere else cheaper. We should have paid no more than $20 for the work. Now I don't know about any of you but I wouldn't take a $1500 painting to a place of business that does work for $20 but to each their own. After some back and forth Lisa agreed to pay for the work that was done. That was 2 months ago. We haven't seen a dime and are not holding our breath. We have been told on 2 separate occasions that cheques have been sent but this obviously is not the case. Running a business no doubt can be stressful and mistakes happen. What is inexcusable however is running a business in this fashion. Don't say you are going to reimburse someone for your mistake and then not follow through. This is an unfortunate turn of events after an incredible experience in New Orleans and what was a lovely gallery. I feel bad for the artists who are probably less than aware of such actions but for anyone thinking about purchasing you've been warned. There will undoubtedly be some fabricated response to this post, but the fact is we have not been reimbursed for her original mistake which she agreed to do.

If I could give this negative stars, I would. I visited New Orleans in JULY and purchased beautifully decorated wine glasses...that I realized when I got to my hotel, were falling apart. I contacted the gallery and was told that they could be fixed and they would mail them to me (since it was my last 2 days there). I was thrilled! I left my conference early to return the items, so the glasses and jewelry could be reused. After multiple attempts of trying to get these sent to me, it is now DECEMBER and I still have not received them. I was given multiple excuses and promised a refund, but never received it, so I had to put a dispute on my credit card to get the money back for the items that I never received. She said even with the refund, I would still get the items, and I still have not. This is BAD BAD BAD customer service! If you enjoy terrible customer service, this is the place for you. If not, STAY AWAY!

A born and raised New Orleanian now living in Virginia, I wanted piece of home. I purchase two pieces of art, one on canvas the other on wood. I paid for shipping, $125.00. Received (1) package with both pieces in enclosed, disaster! Box damage in shipping, contents of package damage, broken. Imagine packing a canvas piece short and wide in the same box with a wood piece tall and slender you get a damage item. Here's the kicker, I purchase in Aug it's now Oct, I have had no resolution from Lisa Victoria gallery. They have the full retail value of the piece and I have a broken item. Also, while initially Lisa was speaking to me its now been close to month and the Gallery, Lisa Victoria, has not return or replied to any of my correspondence. I guess they are hoping I'll just go away. Next time I go home (New Orleans) to see Mom and Dad...I definitely will not ever return there. Go to another gallery, they'll probably do a better job with customer service and following up after the sale. Regrettable experience.
