  Nice and convenient wine store if you stay in the neighborhood. Above that I found few beer items were a bit cheaper also(not all items though) that other wine shops around. Card swipes minimum $10 but being a convenient atore thats acceptable.

  The current owners {as of October 2014} are friendly and patient with their customers and have been for many years now. This is one block away from the East District Police Precinct, so, no worries about bad people going in there all the time. They have plenty of variety to choose from as well as small foods and kitchen items. No pets or bikes allowed inside.

  Convenient if you live nearby and want to pick up a halfway decent bottle of wine or a couple beers without breaking the bank. The prices are about the same as other local discount stores, so it's nice that there isn't really a "convenience store" markup. It's cash-only, so don't stock up here.
