  Limelight was one of my favorite gyms in Manhattan until today when the manager came over to my friend and me and yelled at us for taking pictures. His exact words were, "I know the front desk didn't let you in with a camera. No one told you that you could do that and I want you out NOW!" We didn't even get a chance to say anything and when I started to respond, he said "NOW" and turned his back and walked away from me. I've never been treated so unfairly and disrespectfully by someone whose job is to interact with the public in a polite and professional manner. I've never had a problem there before and the gym is absolutely amazing, clean, and just perfect. The manager had what sounded like a German accent and he was extremely impolite and unprofessional. We were treated like we had just vandalized the gym when we were just taking pictures during our workout while no one was around. We were respectful and mindful of other clients, as we're personal trainers in a high-end gym. We won't be back and I'll stop promoting the gym on my social media and to my friends.

  The staff is great. The atmosphere in this gym is relaxing. I was able to get through my workout without distractions. My trainer, Joe Degeorge, chose the right space to train people. Highly recommend this place.

  My friend and I signed up for a trial yoga class in November using EventBrite. We were excited to check out the facility and classes, but were so disappointed when we found out that the yoga class was rescheduled to one hour earlier without any prior notification, so we both got there on time but were turned away without any apology other than that they had just opened recently - which makes it a little odd that there are reviews going back months before November...
