::My wife and I were interested in installing under-cabinet lights. After doing some browsing, we were greeted by an individual who was very knowledgeable on the different styles of under-cabinet lights. We chose which worked best for us, and placed our order. Installed them ourselves and they work great! I'd definitely recommend going to Lighting Inc. for your lighting needs. They were nothing but professional and helpful, with lots of knowledge on their products.

::I was in the store for a while on a Saturday and found Paul to be very helpful. However when I called two days later after deciding on what I wanted, Paul had no idea who I was. He took my information and called me back leaving a voice mail about pricing and availability. I called twice trying to order my lights and he did not call me back. The person I spoke to when I called a second time said he would "hand deliver" my message. I should have heeded the advice in these reviews. My lights are on order though another company.

::I can't believe their in business. I am always looking to shop locally and help the economy, but Lighting Inc. makes it so hard. We've been several times, thinking that they will improve or at least acknowledge us, but to no avail. We are consistently disappointed in them. No one will look up from their computers or phones to ask if you need help. Finally, when you go and ask for help you are greeted with, "You need somethin'?" We asked if a bathroom sconce came in brushed nickel and the salesman did not know. He finally got the book and checked and said yes. I asked if he had it in stock and he gave me a face as if to say, "Why would we stock that?" It went down hill from there. I pulled out my phone and found it online for $40 less and will have it here in two days. It's very sad, but we realized that a lot of New Orleans is this way and I don't blame people for not wanting to move down here. I don't want to live here any more and I love New Orleans, I just can't deal with the self centered mentality a lot of people have now.

::Some great-looking lighting and some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Ordered four sconces, salesman checked that they were in stock in DC warehouse before I paid, and said they would be here in a week. Three weeks later and multiple phone calls -- including to the store manager -- sconces have still not arrived. Remodel is finished, electrician gone, Lighting Inc could care less. Excuses excuses and the manager Mike says he will return phone calls but never does. I try to buy from local retailers instead of online because I much prefer seeing the quality of items in person, but if you are on a timeline and cannot wait forever for lighting to arrive, definitely go elsewhere.

::They worked with me on a small (small for them large for me) lighting project during a remodel of my house. They are very knowledgeable and offered great advice. They are competitively priced. They even came to my house to see what was needed before making any suggestions. I would definitely recommend them.
