::I've been here twice in two months and bith times there was a drunk dude causing a commotion (different guy each time). And both times the staff did nothing to ameliorate the situation. The bar employs bouncers, but I don't think they were on duty yet. This was about 7 or 8pm, still early for some Staten Island bars. The first drunk only left when he asked for and got an ambulance to take him. The second only left when my brother asked him to leave. The bartenders are cool and the waitress we had was awesome. But one of the times I was there was for a party with 40 guests. There was only one waitress serving drinks, taking orders, serving food and bussing tables. I also suspect there was only one person cooking all that food. The party was arranged with the owner (manager?) well im advance. I think if the bar had arranged for more staffing I wouldn't have waited so long for my food. There were two bartenders manning a mostly empty bar. There were only 4 adults at the party, so they weren't making a lot of drinks for us. But they didn't help our waitress. I'm not blaming them if they weren't asked to help, just pointing out that the staffing was mismanaged. My burger was good, my girl's BLT with turkey was HUGE. The friea are good too. They have a good selection of draft beers including some local Staten Island brews. Parking can be pretty difficult in that neighborhood, but that's true forall the bars in that area. Interesting note, even at 10:30pm, the bar only had about 30 people in it (not including our party), although there were more coming in. The last time we were there there was no more than 15 when we left at 9pm. Meanwhile the bar next door was full the whole time; bar and dining area.

::Large portions and good food. Nachos were big. Diet coke was flat.

::Great beer selection, good bartenders, excellent food and a nice outside patio/smoking area. Good neighborhood bar feel, if you can manage to avoid college night as it gets packed.

::Bands beware. We booked a gig for tonight with Kevin Harrigan. The owner. We agreed to a price, showed up and set up to play. We were told by thier manager that since there was not many people in the bar that they would only pay is a little more than half of what we were owed to leave. It took me 90 mins to pack up my gear, drive an hr to the bar and another 40 mins to set up, another 30 mins to break down and an hr to drive home. Not to mention we turned down other opportunities to play here. Kevin would not give us what we were owed and now he will be seeing us in court to collect. Any professional band that wants to play here.... don't! The owner is not professional and does not keep to his word even when its in writing.

::Burgers and fries are good. Beer on tap was fresh. It can get packed in there when a live band is playing. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.
