  Quality jazz, quality management and staff. Great ambiance! Food salty, but beautiful presentation. I suggest chef use other spices instead of heavily salting. A complimentary appetizer was sent to the table by mgmt because our food was a little late coming out. Not expected but greatly appreciated. NICE touch! Thank you!!

  One can never go wrong with a good Friday night dinner to finish off the week! The place was quite a bit more spacious than I had anticipated and not noisy at all - both big pluses. We started the meal off with some escargot and plenty of French bread doused in salty, creamy butter...yum. Entrees included Beef Cheek Bourguignonne, Poulet au Vinaigre and the Smoked and Grilled Pork Chop. The beef and chicken were very well done and loaded with hearty flavor. Though I loved the sweet potato puree and brussies that accompanied my pork chop, the meat itself was overcooked. Service was energetic and attentive and the prices are pretty fair for classic French fare. Definitely one of the better French places I've tried and a much better deal than La Voile with jazz to boot.

  Seated recommends this place for a date night and I couldn't agree more. The vibe of the restaurant is really nice because it's trendy in the front then gets a little fancy when you walk towards the back. The people who worked there were friendly and welcoming. I ordered the veggie burger with French fries which was a great choice for lunch. I would like to go back and check out their dinner menu!

  Fantastic place. We requested a Rose on the table to celebrate Valentine’s Day two days early, and when we arrived we had a Rose and linens folded into the shape of a Rose. The service was very prompt and professional, and the wine list was extensive with many great selections. The main course was very delicious, but the dessert was phenomenal. Kenneth was an excellent waiter— very professional and very kind.

  I had written the previous review below but would like to amend... My recent experience was far better than all previous ones. Everything was perfectly cooked and reminded how much I love lamb. The scallops were also of great quality along with everything else. My father is more critical than I and was impressed how much has changed since our last experience. I post this to retract my previous one to say the kitchen is serving top notch cuisine. If my review was based purely on the bar staff and happy hour experience it would be five stars; if however it were based on the food it would be lower. Consistency with the kitchen is the problem. While I have seen chefs come and go over the years, this remains an issue. I also question the commitment to French bistro fare. Their worst is not terrible but certainly not worth the money. Come for the drinks and proceed with caution on the food, but $1 oysters are always a deal.
