::I cannot say enough wonderful things about this funeral home. They handled my mother in laws services and everything was perfect. My father in law commented on how things could not have gone any better. I am thankful for the funeral directors and all of the staff at Leo P. Gallagher and Son. I would not hesitate to recommend this funeral home and use their services again in the future. Thank you for the great work!

::My family recently worked with this funeral home to plan my father's wake and funeral service, including a burial with Military presence. Our experience was exceptional. The staff was helpful, sympathetic, and kind. They went out of their way to provide both comfort and service - and made sure we knew what to expect each step of the way. There were many small touches they made that made my father's wake and funeral even more special. When we arrived with more photos, frames and other items than they had tables or easels for - they brought more tables in and went to their other location to secure more easels. At such a difficult time, we truly could not have been more pleased with our experience.

::I am thoroughly disgusted with Joe Singer from this funeral home. He is clearly in the wrong business. He is rude, obnoxious, unsympathetic and an all around nasty person. As we are trying to bury our father he is hurling spiteful words at us. I have also heard feedback from friends after the funeral about how awful and unpleasant he is to deal with. We finally were able to work with another person there Melissa, who seemed better and the actual people from the funeral home who were at my father's funeral were very lovely and helpful.

::It is hard to describe how horrible Joe Singer of Leo Gallagher made my mom feel. Something as simple as arranging to have my father's body taken from Stamford General to the funeral home was a nightmare. The very sweet nurse kept asking Joe Singer to stop screaming at her..she gave up, handed the phone to her supervisor, who then had to deal with him. I eventually took the phone and could not believe how unhelpful he was. It felt like we were taking him away from some important event. Later in the day, when trying to arrange the funeral, who kept trying to get us to change the date to something apparently more convenient for him. We eventually were able to switch to another employee who was not exactly nice, but at least not hostile. So many people were nice to us during this hard time...but Joe Singer was definitely not one of them.
